The US will grow from 300,000,000 to 400,000,000 people. Forget the stimulating capitalism, smokestack industries, rebuilding bridges, roads, and schools. I say plow them all under. Return to the Civil War and let the south win. Not over the issue of slavery but remaining a rural and agricultural country. Let the rest of the world soil itself with soot, smog, and silicone. In the end they can’t eat cement. They will have to trade all the toiled over gadgets for the cake. If we generate our energy with magnets rubbed together by wind and tide and plow over all our fire fueled generators, then turn to agriculture we will hold the pie the world will be fighting over. It’s as basic as food, clothing and shelter. Might want to keep a few nuclear subs though as scare crows.
